Beautiful You

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” –Proverbs 31:25

You can deny it all you want. You can hide it all you want, but you are beautiful.  The world might not agree. It will tell you that you aren’t good enough or pretty enough. It will tell you a lot of lies like: You need to look a certain way to be beautiful. That isn’t real beauty. That is what I like to call fake beauty.

However, our heavenly father thinks otherwise. He looks at you and sees a work of art. To him you are loved, appreciated, worth it, accepted and cherished. In him, you are beautiful. You are his most prized possession.
This is where it starts. It starts with you knowing who you are in Christ and accepting it. The world will try to label you and put you into a certain category but God won’t. In him, you are perfect and complete. You are a child of The Most High.

Once you know that. Once you are assured by that truth, no matter what other people say to you or about you, shouldn’t be important. You know who you are in Christ, that’s what’s important. Darling, don’t compare yourself to others, because you might have something (you do have something) that they don’t. God made you unique. He made us all different. We should embrace that. You are beautiful because you are you. (wow so many yous…. ) Personally, I think it’s great that everyone is different. If we were all the same, the world would be boring. Being different is good. Being different is beautiful.

When you have confidence in who you are in Christ, then it shines through. Be happy with who you are. Learn to love yourself. Because nothing is more beautiful than a woman who knows that she is beautiful and loved.
Don’t try looking for beauty in the world. You would be looking for a long time. Instead look for it in Christ. Dig a little deeper. Look a little closer.

You are you and if someone can’t accept that, then they aren’t worth your time.
You are a living masterpiece and God is an amazing artist. Don’t change what he already made to be beautiful.

Stay you, Stay beautiful.

“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30
